Continued Access Rights Policy
A change has been made to our continued access rights Policy (previously referred to as our perpetual access policy) on 1 January 2011.
The continued access policy only applies to institutions which have had to cancel their subscriptions to all IOP content and therefore have no current subscriptions remaining. For a small annual fee these institutions can have continued access to content published during the term of subscription.
If your institution continues to subscribe to one or more current titles, then no charge will be made.
Annual fees for continued access are as follows.
- Journal subscribers £300 / $550 per institution
- IOPscience extra subscribers £500 / $900 per institution
Other options
Customers may wish to consider receiving data through fixed media (such as DVD , memory stick or hard drive), the costs for which are stated below:
- Fixed media cost for Journal subscribers £600 / $1100 per institution
- Fixed media cost for IOPscience extra subscribers £1000 / $1800 per institution
Customers may also wish to continue access through the third party service Portico. Although IOP Publishing levies no charge for this, your access will be dependent on the arrangement you have with Portico.
