Consortia agreements
Since 1999, the Institute of Physics has concluded 92 agreements with over 1,550 institutions in 67 countries, including 8 National Site Licences.
The Institute's Consortium Agreement enables all members of a consortium to obtain access to its Electronic Journals at a substantial discount. Research shows that significant use is made of journals that were previously not subscribed to and thus the benefit of access to a much larger body of information lowers the unit cost of information for all.
