Help: Accelerated Publication - Open Issue
Accelerated Publication brings you research articles faster than ever before. With Electronic Journals you don't have to wait until an entire journal issue is completed, printed and bound. Complete issues are online weeks before print publication and each individual accepted article is made available in an 'Open issue' as soon as it is ready for publication, often weeks before the issue is complete. This guarantees that authors will see their work published faster and readers will benefit from articles that appear in the electronic journal weeks or months before the printed issue is available.
Accelerated publication may be available for all journals and can be viewed by selecting an 'Open issue' from the Journal home page. At times, more than one 'Open issue' may be available for a journal.
All journals also have a listing for Forthcoming Articles, which provides advance notice of articles to be published, as soon as they are accepted for publication.
