Help: Articles Citing this Article
The Articles Citing this Article page displays a list of articles that cite the current article amongst their references.
IOP Publishing's HyperCite® technology provides links from articles listed on the Articles Citing this Article page to their abstracts. These links are available to citing articles from IOP, The American Physical Society, NASA's Astrophysics Data System (ADS) and other publishers participating in CrossRef's Forward Linking service. This powerful technology allows you to investigate the influence of the current article on other research.
Each citing article available from IOP Publishing's archive will include a hyperlink labelled "IOP Article". This link will take you to the abstract page for the citing article where you will also be able to access its full text (dependent on subscription status) and, if applicable, its lists of references and citing articles, allowing you to explore further.
Complementing the Articles Citing this Article page is the References page, which shows a list of articles cited by the currently selected paper.
Please note that you are only able to access References and Articles Citing this Article pages for articles available to you on subscription, free content, or articles purchased via online document delivery service.
Open URL links
If you are at an organization that has activated SFX or a similar OpenURL link resolver at the IOP Electronic Journals service, links will appear on our Abstract, References and 'Articles citing this article' pages.
The OpenURL standard is being widely adopted by libraries to permit context-sensitive linking and resolve the "appropriate copy" problem. IOP supports OpenURL and is pleased to work with consortia and academic sites, as well as organizations such as Ex Libris and Serials Solutions, in the implementation of various OpenURL initiatives.
To activate SFX or a similar OpenURL link resolver at the IOP Electronic Journals service, please contact custserv@iop.org.
