IOP journals available free to developing and low income countries
IOP offers several ways for researchers in low income countries to gain free or low cost access to its journals.
eJournals Delivery Service
IOP journals are available free of charge to scientists in the developing countries listed below via the eJournals Delivery Service (eJDS) of the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Trieste. The eJDS is intended to facilitate access to scientific literature for researchers at institutions with low band width internet facilities. You may access eJDS by completing an application form.
eIFL and PERI programmes
IOP participates in the Electronic Information for Libraries (eIFL) programme and the Programme for the Enhancement of Research Information (PERI). Both organisations promote the provision and use of electronic journals at zero or low cost to developing and transitional countries. If your institution is in an eIFL or PERI country please contact your country coordinator to find out how to gain access to IOP journals.
